You may have a pile of old photographs somewhere in your home. Maybe a shoebox filled or a few storage containers or drawers loaded with these treasures. Not sure what to do with them?
One way to give the older photos new life is to create a collage of photos on a theme. Travel could be one theme for example, and you can combine many photos from different trips and vacations into one nice looking arrangement. Use rubber cement to glue them once you are satisfied with the look.
A photo table is a great way to show off your pictures. A coffee or other table with a glass (or lexan) top added is a good place to put the photos, where they will be shown and kept safely. Change them out often and keep the visitors interested in this display.
A simple photo album can be put together quickly and inexpensively. It will preserve the photos and help keep them organized. Use labels to denote the sections and tell what the pictures are showing. It can be a fun afternoon project for the family to set these up.
Get photo frames that have various hole sizes cut in the mats for showing photos. Insert the photos and you have an instant wall decoration.
Use clear glass jars to show off a photo or two inside. An antique jar can be a great photo display item on a table.
Get out those old photos and give them a new life!
